This example uses the freely available gauges from Bindows.

The mousemove event is attached to each gauge so that every move updates the needles for the x and y positions ( e.clientX and e.clientY respectively ).

Note that the event is a standard mousemove event. I'm using YUI to listen for and remove the event, but you can use any library you want.

Note that the examples only work in IE and Firefox. On OSX, the second gauge doesn't render with labels.
